KrouaN (City Analyst’s Department, Southampton) Details are given for a scheme of identification, by thin layer chromato- graphy, of the active ingredieDts of proprietary travel and seasickness tablets. Altemative, specific methods to the B.P. nethods of assay are suggested for four of the six ac{ive ingrcdients under consideration, A wide variety of tablets are now marketed for the treatment of motion sickness which contain one of sir common active ingredients. Table I indicates the principal products with thcir acti e constituents and normal tablet strength.
