pAGrNGroN 25 A Survey of Fruit and Yegetables for Dithiocarbamate Residues b.r’ J. PAGINGToN* (City and County of Bristol Scientific Adyiser’s Depafiment, Bristol) Results of a small survey of dithiocarbamate fungicide residues in fruits and vegetables, sampled in the Autumn of 1967, are given, together with details of a TLC method used to distinguish four common dithio- carbamates. The ditliocarbamate group of fungicides is being used extensively in this country. They are recommended for use in the control of certain fungal diseases on fruits and vegetablesl as listed in Table I.
