An amended procedure for the turbidity temperature measurement is recommended. A survey has been made of the turbidity temperature of a number of authentic arachis oils and a new specific lower limit for the turbidity temperature is now proposed. Arachis oil is the fixed oil obtained from groundnuts (peanfis), Arachis hypogaea L.
